The sense that maybe—it’s time to move again. The light lingers a little longer, your body feels a touch more awake., and suddenly the way you’ve been moving, thinking, even carrying yourself… feels quite different. Spring invites a flirtation with renewal, reimagining and aliveness. Spring doesn’t ask for big gestures. Just small shifts, done with intention.
March 20th. 10:46 a.m. The spring equinox, also called the vernal equinox, signals new beginnings, renewal and the return of equal day and equal night. The rites of Spring include many rituals to rejuvenate fresh, new energy. There's a noticeable shift toward wellness and movement. It’s physical—but also emotional as people come alive again.
Spring doesn’t ask for big gestures. Just small shifts, done with intention. Spring embodies the beautiful spirit of renewal and awakening. When we anticipate the first thaw, spot the first robin, see the first buds –– we've waited so long and now we breathe a collective sigh of relief after a long winter. Spring is here!
Here are some timeless rituals that people have used to get into Spring mode
1. The Reset Walk (Move Without Agenda)
Step outside without a destination, a podcast, or a pace to maintain. Let your body find its own rhythm again. This simple act recalibrates your nervous system, softens mental clutter, and reconnects you to your natural sense of timing—something we often override in winter’s rigidity.
2. The Declutter Ritual (Edit Your Environment)
Spring cleaning, but with discernment. Not everything needs to go—only what no longer reflects who you are now. Clearing physical space has a direct psychological effect: it creates cognitive ease, reduces decision fatigue, and makes room—visually and mentally—for new energy to enter.
3. The Return to Movement (Reconnect Through the Body)
Not exercise for output, but movement for sensation. Dancing, stretching, shifting weight from one foot to the other with awareness. When you return to your body in this way, confidence rebuilds from the inside out, posture changes, and connection—to yourself and others—becomes more natural, less forced.
