Every picture tells a story, yes - but to discover the muse, the brilliance behind each inspiration, you have to meet Nettie. Each print tells an artful story, sometimes with Nettie’s zany twist of humour, but always with visual language that captivates the inner voice.

Blueheel Dance Studio is proud to host “Nettie’s Wall” a collection of beautiful prints created by noted Port Credit photographer and artist that will be on display from Sep 1st – Oct 31st, 2019 at Blueheel Dance Studio in beautiful Port Credit. You are welcome to come by the studio anytime between 4:00 – 8:00Pm Monday to Friday to check it out or join us if you can to meet Nettie:

About the Artist:

Nettie Seip is a creative Event and Portrait Photographer/Digital Artist/MSc (MedSci)/happy dog owner. She loves to photograph theatre, dance, acrobatics, nightscenes, low light events, environmental portraits, head shots, landscapes but more importantly expressions, emotions and stories. Nettie’s work has not only won awards and been published in the Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Zoomer magazine, Mississauga Life and Mississauga Arts magazines, but has also been shown in many group and solo shows in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville and Ottawa. Britain Street Gallery, Queen Gallery, Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts,Visual Arts Mississauga, Scotiabank NuitBlanche, CONTACT Photography Festival, The Gladstone Hotel, The Royal Ontario Museum, AGO, Cooper's Fine Art Gallery, Wychwood Barns, Steam Whistle Gallery, World Salon, Port Credit Outdoor Art Show, Arts at the Port, VAM - Art in the Park, Oakville Art in the Park, The Wave Room, Pazan Gallery, Shadowbox Gallery, iMAGEMAKER gallery, the Guilty Dog, Doors Open at SAIB, ArtFest Port Credit, InSitu at SAIB Mississauga, and Rideau Hall Ottawa.R.M.Vaughan described Nettie’s “Ice Diamond photograph” in the Globe and Mail as …“a photograph so dappled with liquid light, it could be mistaken for a Mary Pratt painting.”
