How to Dance at a Wedding. And look cool doing it.

Wedding Season is coming. Are you dance ready?

For many guys, the thought of getting up and dancing instills terror flashbacks of prom night, making a fool of themselves on the dance floor in front of the very girl they're trying to impress. And while you think you may have the macarena down pat, that's not exactly the best way to spotlight your cool side.

There's an easy way to ramp up confidence and learn some simple moves that will make you look relaxed and like you're having fun. In fact, you will be having fun because there will be no more awkwardness or anxieties to hold you back. Many guys really want to dance but think they can't. "I have no sense of rhythm. I can't get the beat. I have two left feet. I really like dancing but I'm not good at it. I don't know how to move my hips. I get nervous. I'll look stupid…" We've heard it all. But you might end up looking more awkward when everyone else is having a good time and you're sticking out as a wallflower.

The thing is, you're going to have to learn how, the same way you took driving lessons or golf lessons. Learning requires that you make mistakes so you want to make your best mistakes in a safe place with someone who can coach you through the simple tricks to making you look good on the dance floor.

Why didn't anyone tell me? It becomes so easy when an expert breaks it down for you and shows you how to do a two step, twirl a girl or lead her into a turn. Someone who can give you the inside scoop on how to approach a girl and ask her to dance, how to lead her off the dance floor, what to do and what NOT to do. If you think you don't have rhythm, we can teach you what to listen for, which beat to start on. If you can count to four, you can learn to dance.

Check out Blueheel Dance Studios in Port Credit, Mississauga. It's a good looking studio in a great location where you can take in a dance lesson and then chill on one of many cool patios and restaurants along Lakeshore.

"I took a few classes for fun to get out of my comfort zone. Never danced in school or ever but they give you a free demo and took some private lessons at the Mississauga location. The instructors are all really nice and patient and treat you like a friend as well." Bernie.

Many of the students who come for dance lessons say that it has been a game changer.
